Diwali fireworks: times, rules & collection

When can I set off fireworks on Diwali?

In England, fireworks normally can’t be used between 11pm and 7am, but on Diwali night the curfew is extended to 1am.

  • You must be 18 or over to buy fireworks.
  • Follow the safety distance on each firework.
  • Keep a bucket of water nearby and light at arm’s length.
